Walk For Wishes Or Donate Your Car To Benefit Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana

Are you looking for ways to benefit Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana this summer? If you are, we have plenty of opportunities for you to help make wishes come true for kids in areas like Akron, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, Toledo, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Evansville, Louisville and Lexington. You can donate your car to Wheels For Wishes, benefiting Make-A-Wish, or participate in one of three upcoming Walk For Wishes events taking place in Columbus, Indianapolis, and Cleveland.

Donate Your Car

Summer is the perfect time to donate your car since there are more opportunities for walking or biking places. If you have an unwanted car, truck, boat, or motorcycle that is taking up space in your driveway or garage, consider donating your car to charity and let your vehicle benefit Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana. Your car donation will help to grant the wish of a local child in your community. Plus, you will receive free pick up or towing of your vehicle, and a great tax deduction at tax time.

Walk To Grant Wishes

If you don’t have a vehicle to donate at this time, you can still help to make wishes come true by walking in one of the upcoming Make-A-Wish Walk For Wishes events. Walk For Wishes in Indianapolis on July 18 and take part in celebrating the 10^th Annual Walk For Wishes event at Fort Harrison State Park. If you live in Ohio, you can attend the 23^rd Annual Walk For Wishes event at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

July 25 will be the 16^th Annual Walk For Wishes event McFerson Commons in Columbus. Whichever Walk For Wishes event you attend, you will be helping to grant wishes for kids in your community.

Get Your Walking Shoes Ready And Register Today

Walk For Wishes events are great for the whole family to participate in. All three events feature a 1 or 3-mile walk with a finish line celebration. You can even meet Wish Families and will witness the incredible power of a wish. Walk For Wishes events are fun and worthwhile, so register today!

Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana has more than 800 children waiting to have their wish granted, and you can help to make this possible when you attend a Walk For Wishes event and help to raise money for your local Make-A-Wish chapter.

There are no fees to walk in the Indianapolis and Columbus events, but there is a $25 registration fee for adults who walk in the Cleveland event, or $10 for kids 17 and under. At all three events, participants are strongly encouraged to participate in fundraising for Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana.

Can’t Attend? Sponsor Another Walker

If you cannot attend any of these upcoming Walk For Wishes events, consider sponsoring another walker. You will be helping to raise money for Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana. Sponsor a walker in Indianapolis, Cleveland, or Columbus, or consider becoming a Virtual Walker.

Virtual Walkers are participants that cannot attend the event, but would still like to participate in fundraising for Make-A-Wish. Virtual Walkers do not receive the same benefits as direct participants, such as event t-shirts or admission to event activities, but they do help to make wishes come true for local children.
