Walk For Wishes is taking steps to grant wishes in Jacksonville, Fla. on June 4. Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida is hosting a Walk For Wishes in Jacksonville to raise money toward granting wishes for local children with critical illnesses. Walk for Wishes is a laid-back, two-mile walk by the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, celebrating hope, strength and joy while raising funds that help grant wishes for local children in Central and Northern Florida. While the walk itself will have entertainment and refreshments, this event at Unity Plaza will feature a best hero-costume contest, a light breakfast, a helpful warmup session at Asana Wellness Center, fun play activities and live music. Your support will help grant more than 50 wishes this year that help kids have the opportunity to just be kids while freeing them from medical routines and allowing them to dream, laugh and play!

Sponsorship Opportunities

Walk For Wishes is less than $8,000 away from the $46,200 goal. By walking, leading a team or sponsoring the event, you will make a huge impact on the lives of local children with critical illnesses. While the average cost of a wish is just $8,000, nobody can put a price tag on the impact it has on a child’s life. Registration is $100 per person, and there are also sponsorship opportunities.

• Gold: At $2,500, the Gold Package will feature your logo on the Walk for Wishes T-Shirt, the website and along the route. Your company will be listed on the walker map/program. You will be included in the event’s social media posts. Registration for 8 walkers is included. Your company will be included in the press release and marketing materials. A table is provided if you wish to have a display during the event.
• Silver: Your company name will be included on the walker map/program for $1,000. You will be included in the social media campaign. It also includes signage and the registration fee for four walkers. A table is provided if you wish to have a display during the event.
• Bronze: For $500, your company will be included in the social media campaign. Your company name will be included on a route sign. Your company may bring a table for display during the event.
