Two Ways To Help Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana This August
If you’re looking for ways to give back to Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana this August, we have two great ideas for you. Aug. 4 will be the BIG Wish Gala in Kentucky and Aug. 5 will be the Dreamweaver Ride for Wishes Poker Run in Ohio. Both events will benefit Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Help Grant Big Wishes
Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana’s BIG Wish Gala is one of their most spectacular events of the year. Indiana and Ohio had their BIG Wish Galas earlier in the year, and now the event is finally headed to Kentucky. You won’t want to miss this amazing evening at the Seelbach Hilton Louisville (500 S 4th St.). The gala will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 4.
When you attend this event, you will enjoy a fabulous sit-down dinner, a live and silent auction and a few surprises along the way. Guests will also hear wish stories of inspiration from Wish Kids and their families. Share the power of a wish when you attend the upcoming BIG Wish Gala on Aug. 14. Earned proceeds from the event will help to grant more wishes for kids living in Akron, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, Toledo, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Evansville, Louisville and Lexington.

Ride To Help Grant Wishes
On Aug. 5, Ohio residents can help grant wishes by attending the Dreamweaver Ride for Wishes Poker Run. The ride starts at the Glass Bar in Norwalk (45 E Main St.) at 11:30 a.m. All street legal vehicles are welcome to join at a cost of $25 per vehicle and $10 per additional passenger.
The ride will allow you to win prizes and be entered into a drawing for the grand prize of two round—trip domestic flight tickets. Following the ride, you can enjoy live music, food, a 50/50 drawing, raffles and more. Check the event page of the Make-A-Wish website for more details.
