Three Fun-Filled Events To Benefit Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Northern Delaware, And Susquehanna Valley

September 13, 2015

This October, there are three fun events for you to participate in that will support Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Northern Delaware, and Susquehanna Valley. Serving 10 counties within southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Delaware, Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Northern Delaware, and Susquehanna Valley granted 275 wishes during the 2014 year. This year they hope to grant even more wishes, and your support can help to make this possible.

Walk To Make Wishes Come True

According to Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Northern Delaware, and Susquehanna Valley, their most popular wish request involves a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, and 50 percent of these children ask to meet Mickey Mouse. You can help to ensure that each and every Wish Kid has this magical opportunity, and there are three fun ways for you to do so. Two of those opportunities involve Walk for Wishes events in Harrisburg or Philadelphia.

If you enjoy walking or running, then you’ll love the Walk for Wishes events. Full of fun and energy, these events are the perfect way to get the whole family involved in the wish-granting process. All you need to do is register as a team or an individual in Philadelphia or Harrisburg, and then you can begin fundraising for Make-A-Wish.

The Food Truck Festival will include 18 different food trucks and many of them have been featured on The Food Network, The Cooking Channel, and A&E.
