Beer Or Handbags: Two Orange County Events Benefiting Make-A-Wish
The weekend of March 7 offers two terrific events for you to attend, both of which help raise money to benefit Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire: Twilight Tasting and This Old Bag: The Power of the Purse.
The first event is the 2nd Annual Twilight Tasting on Saturday, March 7, from 5-10 p.m. at the Lyon Air Museum (19300 Ike Jones Dr., Santa Ana). This is an opportunity to try some of the best premium and limited-edition craft beers, as well as the release of spring season brews.
Twilight Tasting offers unlimited 4-ounce tastes, private reserves, limited and season craft beers, a limited selection of craft beer brands with limited or no California distribution, wines and spirits, food and dessert samples, live entertainment, a silent auction and an exciting raffle.Â
The attire for the event is business casual or cocktail attire. Tickets for the event are on sale at the event website. Tickets are $75 each or $65 each for groups of more than five. On March 8, This Old Bag: The Power of the Purse, takes place at the Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach (1221 West Coast Highway). The event is a spirited high tea and silent auction featuring new, vintage and designer handbags. It’s a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon with your girlfriends while supporting Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire.
Tickets for the event are available online for $75 each and a table for 10 guests is $750.
