Jaeger And Flynn Queensbury Golf Event
Want to do something you love and be able to help make wishes happen while doing it? This year for the “Grip It ‘N Rip It” golf tournament the sole beneficiary is Make-A-Wish Northeast New York. The golf tournament will be held at Hiland Park Country Club, in Queensbury, Friday June 3. All of the proceeds after expenses will go towards local kids and family’s wishes.
The Make-A-Wish Northeast New York chapter was founded in 1987. This organization gives children battling a life threating medical condition a new look on life. Each child that has their own special wish granted steps away feeling empowered and ready to fight their battle. Parents step away from the wish experience with a new feeling of hope after seeing their child’s smile and happiness. The volunteers that help with the wish process find that it helps them see the best in others more often. This process also helps them be more committed to actively helping more within their community.
About The Event
This golf tournament is in a four person scramble format. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. but if you would like you can register online. Shot gun is at 11 a.m., and rain or shine this fun event will go on. The registration fee is $140. This includes, green fees, cart, lunch, buffet dinner with carving station, beverage and shocking prizes. Challenges include a hole in one contest, longest drive contest, closest to the pin, wager hole, skins game, putting contest 50/50, poker run and also many fantastic raffle prizes.
