Walk For Wishes Sacramento

Walk the morning away and help bring wishes to children in Northeast California and Northern Nevada. The race will take place at the California State Capital on August 13. Registration/check in will begin at 8 a.m. The walk will start at 9 a.m., with a finish line celebration to follow until 11:30 a.m. There is parking available at the Capital Garage located at 10th & L Street. Weekend parking rates are $1.50 each half hour with a maximum charge of $5.

Angels With A Dream

This free event benefits Make-A-Wish South Dakota, and will be held at Great Bear Recreation Park near Sioux Falls, S.D. Last year they were able to grant two wishes.
