German American Cultural Center's 27th Annual Father's Day Car Show
At the German American Cultural Center enjoy Indoor/Outdoor food options, prizes, raffles, and oldies music, and dash plaques for the first 250 cars!
The magic all happens under a huge pavilion for shade, plus, they have grass parking for everyone. No outside alcohol permitted. Sponsored by the Youth Dance Group.

- The show hours are 11 am – 4:30 pm which will end with an award ceremony starting around 3 pm
- Sonnenberg has a no-pet policy, with the exception of service animals. Please have them wear their service vest as there will be a lot of people in the park that day.
- There will be 2 food trucks on the grounds. Gale-Wyn BBQ, which is cash only, and Mary’s Food, which has Italian sausage, funnel cakes, lemonade, and other options and accepts cash and credit cards. There will also be a vendor selling beer, cider, wine, and wine slushies accepting cash and credit cards. All of the vendors will be selling water.
Guest Entrance (Main Entry)
From Route 332, go East on Gibson, continue straight through 1st stop sign at Charlotte Street, and take an immediate left onto the Sonnenberg Grounds.
Coming West down Gibson Street, you will be taking a right before you get to Charlotte Street.

At the Merrick Train Station, this car show is a non-judged event that will benefit The Nassau County Sheriff’s COBA Widow’s & Children’s Fund.

The Nassau County Sheriff’s COBA Widow’s and Children’s Fund was established in 2006 to benefit the families of deceased Nassau County Correction Officers who died in the Line of Duty or while in Active Service with the department. This fund has distributed money to the widows and/or spouses of our brother and sister correction officers who have unexpectedly left us too soon to help defray unexpected costs including funeral expenses. Additionally, The Nassau County Sheriff’s COBA Widows and Children's Fund sends gifts during the holiday season to the children of our deceased officers every year until they reach the age of eighteen.

Rev up your engines for the Annual Father's Day Car Show hosted by the Villa Capri Cruisers Car Club at Nay Aug Park! Bring your family and dad to admire a wide array of great cars, indulge in delicious food and refreshments, and groove to some great music. This event is one of the largest car shows in the area, welcoming all types of vehicles!
