2017 Sacramento Wine And Wishes
The event takes place at the Sacramento Convention Center (1400 J Street) and all proceeds help Make-A-Wish Northeastern California and Northern Nevada. This year is sure to be even more magical, as it is the 30th anniversary of the Wine & Wishes event.
Event And Ticket Details
On Saturday, April 29 Wine & Wishes kicks off at 5 p.m. You must be 21 or older to attend, and attire is black tie optional. This year's special guests include artist and performer David Garibaldi as well as Linda Pauling, mother of the first ever Wish recipient Chris Greicius. There will also be a celebrity emcee, yet to be announced.
Wine & Wishes will also have tastings from dozens of local vineyards, breweries and restaurants. Guests will have a great opportunity to try delicious new food and drinks from places like Blue Note Brewing, Cabana Winery, Plates Café, The Waffle Experience and so many more.
Another fun part of the evening will be the live and silent auctions. The auctioneer for the live auction will be The Gavel Girl Auctioneer DawnMarie Kotsonis. Auction packages will include wine, signed sports memorabilia, romantic getaways and family vacation packages. The silent auction will feature convenient mobile bidding, so be sure to bring a fully-charged phone or tablet to participate.
Individual tickets are $300 and they are on sale now on the event website. If you want to attend, act fast! This event is sure to sell out quickly. You may also be able to participate by volunteering at the event. Details are available on the event website.
